I will be adding to this list as I try new restaurants.
Kalaveras – I loved the vibe of this new Mexican restaurant for a date night or lively get together with friends. It felt buzzy and trendy with the most instagrammable flight of margaritas.
Hook and Plow – The happy hour menu here is enough to make a dinner from – ranging from beef sliders, fish tacos, clam chowder, crab cakes and furikake fries. It feels very high quality so it’s a great option if you’re in the mood for more high end choices.
Riviera House – I have come here several times for lunch and Tiki Thursday. All lunch options have been delicious – fish & chips, salmon BLT, the doublesmash cheeseburger – and the tator tots and fries are amazing. I was disappointed they don’t have a happy hour menu but the Tiki Thursday cocktails are handcrafted magic and some come out with a flame on them.
Rockefeller – I’ve been here in the evening for a glass of wine and lunch with family on their patio. They don’t have a happy menu and they don’t serve cocktails but there’s a good selection of wine and beer. Lots of salads, sandwiches and taco choices so something for everyone.
Rock & Brews – Fun, family-friendly restaurant with a huge outdoor space. The draft beer list is unique (I had a Red Ale which is rare to see around here!) and the menu has awesome bar food, pizzas and heartier entrees as well. I definitely want to return when there’s live music.
Bettolino Kitchen – Tons of delicious appetizers, pastas and mains. We ordered in from here a lot during quarantine so it was really nice to finally eat there in person. The fried calamari and meatball appetizer were huge hits with our group.
